Agia Galini is situated on the south coast of Crete, centred between the east|
and west coasts of the island. In the last 20 years the once sleepy fishing
village has turned into a lively holyday resort. It is much loved for its position
on the cliffs, for its white houses and its colourful alleyways.
The large choice of restaurants, taverns, cafés and bars provide food and|
drink for all tastes. From the bar with subtile music to the lively disco, there
is something to entertain every age group in the evening.
It is about 5 minutes on foot from the port to the beach (sand/gravel). You can|
rent parasols and sun-beds for a reasonable price there. There are also
several tavernas on the beach where you can get something to eat and drink.
